The purpose of a title sequence/film opening:
.It credits the cast and people involved in the movie
.It sets the tone of the production
.its gives the audience a idea of what genre the movie is
.It shows the institutions logo what is involved in the movie many may refer to it has a Ident
.Somtimes in the title sequence/film opening it may include the actors this could give the audiece a breif idea of what actors may be like
. It could also set expectations
