Drama is known to be more serious than comical in tone, focusing on in-depth development of realistic characters who must deal with realistic emotional struggles.

WHAT MAKES A DRAMA FILM? 
The purpose of a drama film is to make the audience feel emotional as if there involved in the film. In drama films we tend to focus on one character who the audience clings too and then throughout the film there may be  implications what may happen to this character.
